How a break is built

Four columns, nothing hidden.

Every student city break is assembled from the same four parts, and each part is written down before you pay.

Transport

Second-class rail from Kyiv-Pasazhyrskyi at 00:40, arrival Przemyśl Główny 07:10, a 35 minute transfer, then Kraków Główny by 10:40. Seat reservation and carriage number are printed on your ticket.

Bed standard

Eight checks every bed passes before it enters the ledger

Hostels are named and specified, never rated. Each property sits on the same walking route as the break, and all eight points are re-checked at the start of every season.

    Dorm size

    6 beds maximum per room, single or mixed. No property is sold above that number, including high season.

  2. 02

    Lockers

    One steel locker per bed, hasp and padlock loop. Bring your own padlock or rent one at the desk for EUR 1.

  3. 03

    Reception hours

    Staffed 07:00 to 23:00. Later arrivals receive a door code and a bed number in writing before departure day.

  4. 04

    Linen and towel

    Fresh linen and a made bed on arrival. Towel is EUR 2 where the hostel charges for it, and it is always listed per property.

  5. 05

    Walk to the station

    Measured door to platform, not to the district. The cap is 15 minutes on foot with a day pack.

  6. 06

    Nightly city tax

    Charged per person per night, EUR 1.50 to EUR 3, printed on the price ledger as its own line.

  7. 07

    Bathrooms

    At least one shower per 8 beds, hot water around the clock, and a separate sink outside the wet room.

  8. 08

    Check-in and luggage

    Check-in from 14:00, check-out by 11:00. Free luggage room on both days, so the last afternoon stays open for the city.

If a property fails one point, it leaves the list for that season. Sizes, districts and walk times appear beside each departure in the departures table.
